The opening weekend of “On Golden Pond” is behind us. We have more performances over the next two weekends, and I’m thankful for the friendships of everyone involved in the show at Theatre Rocks.
Today was the first day my mind was free from must-dos in quite some time, so I spent it resting. My calico friend, Penny, and I relaxed on a blanket in my backyard this afternoon, soaking in the sun and cool October air.
This week, I’ll be able to turn more of my attention to building momentum for my Autumn projects:
1) revising my one act play “The Canyon Flier” and finding collaborators to help me workshop it and possibly perform it
2) completing a collection of essays, poetry, stories, etc. that I’ve written over the years – working title is “Woman Speaks Softly in a Small Room”
3) learning lines for “The Passing of Exquisite Music,” the one woman play about Martha Root
4) returning to fitness and strength
The sun will set soon. Heading out to watch the colors and light.
