Joy Station: Sitting with the Moment

The breast MRI machine went down and has to be repaired. They scheduled me for tomorrow at 2:15. They can’t guarantee that the machine will be repaired by then, but I’m on the schedule.

It’s the last day that I can schedule it, or I have to wait until next month. I’ll call before I go tomorrow to make sure it’s running so I don’t miss any more work. #ContractorLife

This is the fourth time we’ve rescheduled. I could write more, but I’m weary.

Why isn’t this easier?

Going to sit outside for a while. It’s August-in-Texas hot, but the clouds are nice. And as William Faulkner wrote in his book As I Lay Dying

“Clouds don’t lie.”
