My Amazon Author page has been updated.
Four of my novels in paperback and on Kindle are now available.
Quick look at what’s out there:
- The Caretaker of Tree Palace – a boy learns to speak again through the powers of art and nature
- Waves – a dystopian mystery
- The Waking Tree – a ghost story told by a tree
- Daydreamaholic – a girl gets lost in her daydreams and finds reality is actually better than what she had imagined
What I’m working on now: A project tentatively titled “The Name of Woman” that tells the story of my great-great grandmother Alice Finch’s journals and how getting to know her through her writing has been a touchstone for my adult life. Even though she died 80 years before I was born, she’s been with me as I navigated modern womanhood and its ever-changing meaning.
As Alice wrote: “I may yet be worthy of the name of woman, in the purist and noblest sense. Yes, I will be if resolution and perseverance can accomplish anything.”
Alice was the great aunt of Harper Lee, the author of To Kill a Mockingbird.
